Please join us for the Public Interest Design Summer Fellows reception this Friday, July 19, from 4-6 pm at the Albert and Tina Small Center for Collaborative Design, 1725 Baronne Street. This summer, six Tulane School of Architecture student fellows worked on two projects to support community partners this summer: a design-build project in New Orleans' 7th Ward and a graphic design advocacy project focused on racism and injustice in real estate.

The Racism and Injustice in Real Estate gallery presentation will be on display to view, test, and give feedback on flashcards that the student fellows created to simplify policies and actions affecting the affordable housing market, racial wealth gap, and "American Dream." Additionally, photographs and video of the fellows' design-build project in the 7th Ward that will support NewCorp and Farmacia in their urban agriculture and entrepreneurship efforts.
